HOW TO USE
What: A KP-targeting body scrub that utilizes microdermabrasion and chemical exfoliation.
Where: In the shower, apply KP Body Scrub in a gentle, circular motion on damp skin where keratosis pilaris, bumps or rough patches occur, such as the back of the arms, legs, and but. Rinse and pat dry.
How: Keratosis pilaris, or KP, is a skin condition caused by overproduction of keratin which produces rough and bumpy skin—you might know it as “strawberry skin” or “chicken skin.” KP Body Scrub buffs away keratin buildup to reduce bumps, flaky skin, redness, and irritation for soft, smooth, and healthy skin.
When: Use 2-3 times a week to combat existing skin concerns and to maintain smoother skin over time. For best results, follow with your favorite Fur moisturizer. Because of the powerful AHAs, it could be irritating on more delicate facial skin—for clients with sensitive skin looking for a gentler exfoliation that targets ingrowns, we recommend our other physical exfoliant, Silk Scrub.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Perlite: A mineral derived from naturally occurring volcanic rock, it acts as a powerful physical exfoliant to buff away roughness and bumbs for a microdermabrasion effect.
Lactic Acid: Making up our 14% active alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), this chemical exfoliant dissolves excess keratin buildup in the pores that causes the appearance of KP.
Licorice Root Extract: Derived from the licorice plant, it brightens skin discoloration and soothes redness, puffiness, and itchiness.
Sunflower Seed Oil: A non-comedogenic oil derived from sunflower seeds, it is rich in vitamin E, vitamin A, and vitamin C, which deeply hydrate and protect the skin’s moisture barrier.
